How to follow Asian basketball

Find teams, schedules, results and official viewing information for Asian leagues and regional tournaments.

The short answer

Pick a league or tournament and start with its official teams, schedule and results. Check the listed time zone and viewing access for your country. Domestic leagues, regional club events and national teams follow different calendars.

Which league should you start with?

Japan’s B.LEAGUE, the Philippine PBA, Indonesia’s IBL and Taiwan’s TPBL and P. LEAGUE+ all have official information. Choose one competition or team to get familiar with first.

Watch a few full games and look at rosters and schedules. You will learn more about playing styles and roles than from highlights alone.

What time is the game where you live?

Check whether the listed time is local to the venue, then convert it to your own time zone. Changes to European daylight saving can alter the difference during the season.

Check the official page again near game time. A saved screenshot may miss a change to the time, venue or broadcast.

  • Competition and season.
  • Home and away teams.
  • Game date and stated time zone.
  • Venue or broadcast information.
  • Any update announced by the organizer.

How do regional events work?

FIBA’s BCL Asia-East 2026 page covers that edition’s participating clubs, games and results. It is a regional tournament, separate from domestic leagues.

National teams represent countries on another calendar. Keep their records separate from club results when comparing players.

Where can you watch?

Use viewing links shared by the league, club or event organiser. Availability, language, subscriptions and geographic access vary; an official league site does not always mean a free live stream in your country.

Use official results for scores and statistics. Our guides explain the leagues and the questions to ask if you want to play, study or coach there.

  • Confirm that the viewing link belongs to the organizer or its named broadcaster.
  • Check whether the listing is live coverage, a replay or highlights.
  • Look for access conditions before the game begins.
  • Use the guide library to explore the next league or pathway.
